R. Todd Kemmerer, the founding principal of Capitol Equities, has been a licensed real estate broker in Ohio since 1985. With over 20 years of real estate brokerage and management experience, Todd has represented diverse clients including State Auto Insurance, Key Bank, Lancaster Colony, T. Marzetti Company, Honda of America and the Davis Foundation, to name a few.

Todd’s creative approach and tenacious negotiation skills combine to achieve the best results for his office, industrial and commercial clients; both in tenant representation and leasing/sales services.

J.R. Kern, principal of Capitol Equities, has been a licensed real estate broker in Ohio since 1998. While still in college, he began his career assembling land throughout Ohio and West Virginia on behalf of Rite Aid. Since then, J.R. has provided expertise in office, commercial and retail market segments, including tenant representation and project development, throughout central Ohio.

He has successfully represented and built relationships with several local, privately owned, prominent organizations including the United Midwest Savings Bank, The Waterworks, Fireproof Storage, Ohio’s largest Verizon Wireless franchisee and the Gerber Financial Group.

J.R. has also been instrumental in providing consulting services to several prominent developers, such as Mark Wagenbrenner, Jim Schrim, Ricky Day and J. Daniel Schmidt, to plan, assemble and execute on various, large mixed-use projects.
