State Auto Breaks Ground In Delaware County

COLUMBUS, Ohio (September 1, 2008) --  Capitol Equities has successfully represented State Automobile Mutual Insurance Company in its effort to locate and secure a site in central Ohio for a 22,000-square-foot data center.  After months of research a 4.0 acre parcel in Delaware County's Park at Greif was selected and earlier this week State Auto broke ground on this $18.4 million high-tech center to be completed by July 2010.

"State Auto is committed to maintaining the trust policyholders have placed in us for nearly 90 years, " said State Auto Chairman and CEO Bob Restrepo. "Today, that requires secure data storage and accountability for that date. The site we've selected, and the facility we plan to build, will accomplish those objectives."

State Auto currently employs approximately 800 people in central Ohio, and more than 2,300 associates nationwide.
